This is an unusual picture. When it became time to freshen up my photos – for website, PR use, speeches (and family!) – I knew I wanted to have my coaching client in Las Vegas do them because he has an amazing eye and a creative talent. We planned a long weekend.

Along with some more traditional suit-based professional shots we went to a variety of sites to get different backgrounds against different clothes.

One location was … the desert! We spent a cool delightful morning wandering canyons, overlooks, and trails. Alone, nobody else there. Have you ever had a nature area to yourself?

Few of these nature photographs may make it into professional uses, but I love the outdoors, this was a unique environment for me, and he was a great guide.

You never know what magic may show up for you by first being open to saying “Yes!”
